Before i had constant and poping distorted sound and now its gone. I reinstalled windows XP but i didnt install all the drivers. I only installed the recomended from the dell website. I left out the optional drivers. I have a dell inspiron 1501 AMD turion 64X 2 2.0 ghz 2 gigs of ram and a 256mb video card. 80 gig HD In the device manager, i see question marks for base system device, SM bus Controller & Video Controller. Right now its running super fast. Im not going to do video, only music......

Your Welcome....... Right now i am using Virtual Vinyl... M Audio Connectiv... & Serato. I like Virtual Vinyl & serato. I noticed that in the serato, you can change the settings for absolute on the skin. For Virtual vinyl, you have to go into settings then look for configuaration. I think they shouild change that and have it directly on the skin.
