I have an X-Fi card that has 4.1, 5.1, 6.1, 7.1 configurations. However plugging line1 (master) line 2 (headphones) doesn't work. I can hear only one side and nothing else. Other times I hear only left side or right side.
I continued to to some reading and found that the X-Fi card requires 4-pole connectors with certain configurations (4.1, 5.1, etc) so that I can get a master channel out and a headphone channel (pre-listen)
Does anyone have experience with this card and which configuration will work as well as the correct connector(s)?
