hey, why when i unplug my maya, my screen turns blue? i have vista.

do you have the option to safely eject that card on your task bar? if so try to use this
the blue screen is the blue screen of death which ocurs when windows crashes
it might be a problem with the drivers try a reinstal of them

As Sky mentions, it's not wise to just unplug USB devices. You should safely remove them via the USB Safely Remove Hardware utility or shut the system down before unplugging. And since you are asking about the Maya44 USB device you might get a better answer from their support site.

because i dont have that icon to remove the usb, i turn my laptop off then i unplug it and then i turn it on. but why dont i have that icon?

go to run and paste this in
RunDll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll
and the safely remove wizard will apear
you can aslo make this as a shortcut for future use :)

I have the same problem; what I do is that I unistall after I use it, and whenever I want to use it again I need to install it
I know it sucks.

a cheat for this is to go to device manager and simply disable the device before you remove it
Find it under sounds , game and audio controllers right click and choose disable hardware.
