Numark cue shut down on me twice last nite at a gig it never did that to me before. The longest i played was for 5 hours straight and never had a problem last night i must have played for about an hour and thats when it happened i use no ttables or cd decks i use just the program itself. I looked at the crash report and it said this --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ( Crash ID=77f2045f (date=801010228, version=5.0 rev.5, build=505, thread=Main, dump=81792820, excode=c0000006 (0,5500028))
Crash ID=77f2045f (date=801010247, version=5.0 rev.5, build=505, thread=Main, dump=81792820, excode=c0000006 (0,4b90028))
Can anybody tell me what this means?

If I was you mate I would post again in the General Page and put in the title something regarding your crash report
You might get a better response by a teamer.

Do you use a DMC2? Or another controller?

No i use the program by itself.

It crashed outside the kernel of Numark CUE so it can be a plugin, a mapper, a Windows dll or a driver
Did you use a plugin when it crashed?
What was the last thing you and the software did?

I think your right i remember seeing my playlist vanish while i was playing and then the program shut off. After that i went to open my ex hd and the cpu would not read it so i unpluged it and plugged it back in and then it was working fine. I also remember that night in the club the music was sounding terrible it sounded like it was dying for more power anytime the music was loud it kept on fading in and out like it was a low voltage problem maybe that send a surge to my ex hd but it was plugged into a surge protector but then again who knows. When i got home i put cue on automatic mix for about 27 hours and had no problems i was even digging through folders like crazy and selecting song after song while auto mix was still on lets just say i put it to the test and it worked fine!!!

Get yourself a battery backup and plug your computer into that at the gigs u do. They are cheap and they help regulate the voltage.

I agree. A surge protector will do nothing to guard you against dirty power. In fact continued use of a power strip in dirty power situations makes it less effective in protecting you against a surge.
