While playing vdj the songs randomly pause for a second or two. I'm running VDJ on Window's Vista with 140gig hard drive. Any idea why this is happening.

scan lots of posts on skipping. Tell us more about your configuration, video card, sound card, memory, pc, ;laptop, os, version vdj etc

Disable any unuseful feature in vista n at setting, click safe mode n overclock n set latency to auto n set to fastest. Did that help?

I'm not sure where you are directing me to go. Should I be looking at the start-up menu or reboot my computer then open in safe mode then go into the start-up menu?

hehe.. sorry if that confuse u
in ur cue le settings at performances try click safe mode n overclock n set performance to fastest;)
n also disable ur aero or other thingy that not important in vista.
(sorry i use osx n xp but try the first options first.. )

Music continues to skip while in play. could it be that DJio soundcard is not compatiable with Vista. This doesn't happen on XP.

the djio should be compatible with vista too afaik. try to use the lappy sound card n see if that problem still persist.Hope somebody with vista n djio could comfirm this. meanwhile have u update all ur drivers n directx?
