When using the Maya 44 with VDJ, will it function like the VV vinyl box with VV? Will it offer pass through of normal audio signal when needing to play a standard audio cd? I do a lot of weddings and still use CDs during the night for special music or guest supplied music.

In V5 you can use bypassmode which can be engaged by a keyboard shortcut, to play real cd but it might be better to get a VV package as you get a copy of the software , included aslo and it is a higher quality soundcard.
Please note however VV is an audio interface for VV/CUE/VDJ and will not work in other aplications.
