Hi, I have a Satellite A200-12X laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium.
I installed VirtualDJ and my Maya 44 USB drivers (2.8.11) and also the most updated drivers from Toshiba's webpage and latest bios.
When I mix, specially on videos I get a crackling noise, I'm beginnign to think it's because of Vista, but I don't wanna switch to XP because the laptop came with Vista. I have 2 desktop computers and none of them have this issue and I'm using Windows XP
Also, I tried to lower the performance but nothing and tried the overclick and safemode checks but still nothing.
Laptop specs are:
Core 2 Duo 2Ghz x 2 with 4 MB Cache L2 (T7200)
2 GB RAM DDR
GeForce Go 7300
Realtek HD Audio althought I'm using Maya44 USB
It does this on videos and audio, any help?
Thanks.

Hi?

I just finished debugging a problem where VDJ starting clicking during any mouse move. It had something to do with the video driver, because if I changed video settings (and then changed back) the problem went away (but VDJ would sometimes freeze on exit when I did that.
Reducing video performance one step fixed the problem. From Windows: Display Properties|Advanced|Troubleshooting.
