Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

I have an nVidea 7900 GT. My shuttle's native display is 1280 x 800. However, I only have two options for the second display screen: 1024x728 and 800x600. As you can see with the 1024x728, there is a little bit missing on the second display. I have searched everywhere for other choices of displays but must be missing something. There has GOT to be more than two choices. My drivers are updated.

Anyone deal with this card or know about nVidea cards to advise me on how to get more options to my second display?

Please?

Hi Bryan,

Even though you say you have the latest driver, it does sound like a driver issue to me.

Without wanting to state the obvious are you 100% sure its the correct driver?

Is Windows installing its own generic driver after your install, thus reducing your options? What version of Windows are you using?

Did you uninstal the old driver first and reboot before installing the new one?

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the driver through the device manager as this can be more effective.

Thx for the input. I went to the nVidea site to get the new version. I installed over the old version. Didn't delete anything first.
What would be my next step from there. Roll back a couple of times then delete.

Ok, well you need to uninstall it and reboot. If Windows asks you if you want to install your display driver, say no.

The go into device manager and install the driver from there.

Save it somewhere you can find it. When you are in the device manager to install, select have disc and browse for where you've placed it.

I think there are many cards that can only output VGA and XGA. My card is like that, it's an nVidia GeForce 7000M.

Anyways: i always use VGA (800x600), as most ledwalls and video mixtables have enough with those resolutions. A second screen @ 800x600 is probably annoying. Just saying it might be in the drivers and might not be changable.

Bryant you want your second screen to be either 800X600 or preferably 720X480 as vobs are 720X480.

Ok, I see, however, if my computer screen is 1280x1024 and my second screen is 800x600, I lose quite a bit on the second screen right?

How are most of our settings, as my g/f and i like to see more of our computer screen than just VDJ?

I run 1280X768 on the main and 720X480 on the 2nd output. I cant help you with settings as I am an ATI man, but someone like Cyder (Jason) may be able to help ya out:)
