Hello everyone,

So here is my issue. I am testing exporting to an mp3 and my setup is Virtual DJ 5.xx using
the MK2 as the soundcard.
In the MK2, I have 2 Stanton turntables using time-coded vinyls.
So my problem is when I record, I cannot get the mic to be recorded, and further more, when I go into the recording settings and select
Master+Mic, when the Sound Setup Inputs are set to 2 time-coded vinyls, I get a soundcard error.

Am I just mistaken and there is no way on the MK2 to have 2 time-coded vinyl and the mic recorded at the same time.

Is this something using an external mixer would fix?

Thanks in advance.

The mic is not a computer mic as such it actualy runs as a line in , try Main + Line in.

I only have 3 options under the record file config window, there are
Master
Master + Mic
Line IN.

The mic is plugged into the MK2.

Nevermind, I answered my own question. It cannot be done. I went and took a look over at Hercules website and it clearly states

"When looking at the Console MkII control panel, you will notice that Input
1-2 is shared with the Microphone connector located on the front of the
console. As such, it will not be possible to use BOTH at once. The selection
needs to be made from the Control Panel:"

I am only using the trial now, but if I cannot find a solution for this ability I'm not sure if I will buy it. Does anyone know of a setup that will allow for two timecodes to be setup and a mic and be able to record, or export to a online radio station?
