what do i do everytime i try to rec. it saids cant open mp3 encoder

I get that, so I record in Wav format, then convert the recording/File back to mp3 after,
it's a ball ache but it works.

Hi jimmy, do u have the lame Mp3 encoder installed on ur PC?
If u have it. once in record config, select MP3 n choose where ur lame dll is placed on ur hdd. If u need it i can sent it to you:)
Or u can download it here from free-codecs.

Come to think about it I don't think I have, SpinnaJ. Whenever I've to record in mp3 format, it comes up with lame mp3 encoder error.

hey man i do everything as you told above but it keeps on telling me cant open mp3 encoder...
i have unzipped the encoder in the vdj folder in my documents and i save my file in the same folder but the result is the same
please help

a friend of mine was messing around with my virtual dj program and messed my mp3 encoder up he erased it thinking it was a file to place the mixes in. how do i retrieve the code back cause now it says mp3 encoder error
