I have just purchased a hercules dj mk2 and i want to play the sound out of my macbook. Is this possible? If so, How? Also, the mk2 came with its own version virtual dj. is the pro version a lot different better wise like playing itunes music b/c I cant on this version of VDj

You need to purchase pro to use this on mac.
I t will allow sound to be routed out the outputs ,
The pro version is much improved and is alot newer it is V5 home is V3.

That is a itunes protocol and as far as i am aware will not work with any other application.
