Topic: I hate my laptop

So i decided to buy a barebone (msi 180 deluxe)
With
1.6 ghz
1 "15" tft
512 ddr dimm ram
a cooler card pci
and a 3.5 internal hdd 120 gb 8 mb cache
all this for about 600 euro or 5872:- swe kr
later i will buy a soundcard like maya 44 but thats aint untill next year i feb

is this a good setup for only using vdj and listen to music and nothing else no internet or games just a pure dj computer...
If not should i buy...
more ram
a faster cpu
or a bigger hdd
or maybye a bigger hdd external

Video card is included so is a 5.1 soundcard

That's not a bad set-up. If you can, add more RAM. It'll function well with 512, but it'll be much better with a gig.

buy only Pentium 4 or athlon Xp
CELERON , DURON OR SEMPRON ARE BADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
 
K more ram but u guys see the spec designed mother board does only support sacket a type cpu´s...
So i could just chose between sempron 1.67 sempron 1.75 sempron 1.83 and sempron 2.0...
Nothing else from what i know.
So what shall i do then help me???
 
whats wrong with them anyway ???
 
They are good for "surfing" internet, making some work with your com, its OK.

BUT........

IT'S TO SLOW FOR VDJ, ESPECIALY WHEN YOUR ARE MIXING ALOT OF TIME
 
k but does anybody knows whitch cpus that uses socket type a?
