can anyone tell me how to set up the platter spin and scratch with the 5500?

You have to have version 5.2. You have to have the denon asio drivers installed. go to the config and the controllers, activate the 5500. In sound setup select external mixer, asio driver, select denon 5500 and at the bottom select the proper channels for the sound. on the 5500 make sure you have the platter set to scratch mode.
