Hi,
I've been using Virtual DJ in same club for 5 months; toshiba laptop with only VDJ & essentials installed; Hercules MKII Console connecting to the club's main mixer.
Recently i had to replace the AC power adaptor to my laptop due to wear... and the new adaptor has completely trashed my setup.
It seems the change to power supply unit has greatly altered the way VDJ performs for me, as i now get a lot of interference that has been isolated as relating to the new adaptor (when not plugged in, i have no interference in sound output). When plugged in, there is clear distortion, more noticeable in breaks and quiet moments than usual.
Sounds like I have to earth my power supply somehow... any suggestions?
and, any ideas how this is caused now, when the setup worked before?

You may need a Ground loop Isolator, they are quite cheap.
