I go by the stage name DJ-E-Rich, I have been a part-time DJ for the past 25 years, and I specialize in youth events and weddings. I love the opportunity to make events fun and memorable. I have been so successful in this mission that I have never had to advertise as my entire business is referral-driven. I only have so many weekends that I can dedicate to this fun job and prior to Covid, I booked out every year. I felt the pain of Covid in the Gig world and only had 6 gigs that year and ended up just doing charity work putting on neighborhood parties where people could dance and participate from their own driveways. Things are picking back up now and it's showtime! One of my favorite aspects of the DJ job is my fascination with equipment and music, I am always buying and selling... One of my favorite aspects of the DJ job is my fascination with equipment and music, I am always buying and selling equipment and trying out new music and mixes. The disease is real always striving for better sound quality and better gear. My current setup for 2022 consists of a pair of Jbl SRX 715 2 way tops, a pair of Yamaha DSR215 mains, 3 JBL STX818s subs with 3 QSC PLX 3402 amplifiers to drive all the JBL speakers and subs. My controller is a Traktor Kontrol S8 that feeds into a DBX PA 360 Venue, I love lights and have dozens of lights and stands to put on a great show. I Use Virtual DJ 2022 (which now works on the Traktor S8! *thank you to the Virtual DJ team!). I also have a full studio and am working on a podcast project on the side.
