Vestax was showing off a very fancy looking vci-300 with space age wheels, a white finish and some carbon fiber touches. Given how much they cost to produce, dont expect to see this version of the 300 in stores and even if it did go up for sale the price tag would be a hefty one. Great to see someone actually design something really cool for once- these wheels are hands down the most bad ass jog wheels ever!

damn! that one is looking hot :D

Also very hot.........WHITE hot that is......

MERCY...FISCHER PRICE my first mixer looklike.....i need sthing more pro looking and feeling...I cant believe vestax products will look lie that in the future..thumbsdown all the way..and just a question. Can you guys from atomix productions find a decent manufacturer to build a VDJ CONTROLLER that wont be like children toys???

Actually the vestax controller you see there is one of the best around...

But you dont have to go for that look above, its a show-case special one...

the Vestax is basically metal, but can be overlayed with own images

This one I made for PCDJ

just some questions...mabye its out of topic...but since we started lets finish it..i am thinking seriously of purchasing vci-100...i allready own Hecules mp3,MK2,Numark total control,BCD3000,DISAPOINTED by all of them..mabye im asking a lot...will vci100 work under vista?
will it work well with maya44usb or audio 8 dj..and the last one.HOW is the behaviour of the jogs with vdj?? thnxxxx in advance for your time

The VCI will work in Vista... and with both your soundcard

And compared to the RMX and Hercules, its in its own league.

Reason being it has TOUCHSENSITIVE jogwheels, that your controllers do not have.

This means that if you put your finger on the jogwheel, and hold still, the song will stop..
And you can do pretty awesome scratches, as it behaves much like "real" vinyl...

And its made of solid metal, and feels rock solid...

It also have a big brother out now, called VCI -300 that has a soundcard included. (but you already have soundcard, so you dont need that)

Here is how to make Vestax VCI 100 look like you want ;)

Here is a scratch demo

THAK YOU VERY MUCH...Hope to pay you back in the future

Is there any layout for Vdj to put on the vestax vci-100 ?

That would be very nice.

The one DJ Beware posted looks like it's been designed for VLC media player :).

At 25 dollars, I'm thinking everyone should get one of these just for the heck of it.

Anyways, guess I better don't derail the thread all that much, so I'll comment on the VCI-300. Only played around with a 100 some time ago, but even that was a pleasure, I'm guessing the 300 has a lot more to offer of everything. While in this incarnation looking pretty sweet too. I'm guessing it'd look a bit out of place amongst other equipment though.

There are lots out there..
And you can even make your own ;)

And official VDJ one will hopefully come real soon, since its annonced by Vestax ;)

Guess I have to go make one.. .hehe.. Already made one for PCDJ

Where can i find yours for pcdj ? Cause i think I saw one on the web and 80% of the current layout descriptions are the same as vdj. What I just dodn't know is what to do with the left upper 3 buttons, it seems they are doing something with the loops.

You could ask at the PCDJ forum, where they sell them...

Or I'll ask Ryan at PCDJ for ya, and post it here :)
