I got it working and It mapped allright with Vdj ... lol was even easier than mapping my Xone 3d i saved the maping file if anyone wants a copy to temper with it plz lemme know

I don't know about you, but I certainly don't answer calls while I'm DJing - never mind being able to hear the person who's calling! Just stick the iPhone in airplane mode then enable the WiFi (so all other radios are now off, no worries of calls), and you're golden.

I use the ITM-DJ with my MacBook Pro and an ASUS pocket wireless router (ASUS WL-330gE - pictured below) and it works fantastically. It's easy to setup within the software (you can use the free MIDI-Monitor app available online to check and make sure your computer is receiving the signal from the ITM server software) then away you go. I love it as a remote option for starting music from the dancefloor.
 
Ok, i set this up myself in about 10 minutes the other day.

Ensure both you PC/Mac and the iPhone/iTouch and connected to the same Wifi network.

Install iTouchMidi onto your Mac or PC.
Install iTM DJ onto your iPhone or iTouch

Ensure iTouchMidi is running (on Mac you get a Midi Port "icon" appear on the menu bar - i would assume the same logo on the taskbar in windows)
Load iTM DJ on your iPhone and you will see a list of available Midi Receviers (mine is displayed as the name of my Mac).
Connect.

Load VDJ and activate general midi - program like any normal midi device.

How do you activate "General Midi" Not sure what that is.
 
Does anyone know how to use any of these programs with version 6? Since the mapping function was totally redone, there doesn't seem to be any source yet for help on setting up wifi MIDI controls with it. I'm not the most savvy when it comes to programming :-(

I have ITM DJ installed on my iPod touch, and iTouch MIDI windows edition running on my XP machine. Those two programs seem to be communicating nicely with each other. My issue is how do I get VDJ 6.0.1 to recognize that there's a wifi-MIDI device present? It was suggested I use Loopbe as a loopback program; that doesn't seem to be doing any good.

Anyone out there who might have an idea, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Help Help Help..... I too can't get Virtual DJ 6 to MIDI Map with the Ipod touch.... It used to be really easy to MIDI map and now its just a huge complicated hassle :-(

Note that if you are running this on a Windows machine, you need to have "BonJour' for Windows installed. The easieat way to get this is to ensure that you have the latest version of iTunes installed. I originally had an older version of iTunes (>2years old as I rarely use iTunes on my gig rig) that I mistakenly assumed had this, but apparently didn't. Updating iTunes to the latest and greatest took care of that.
 
Allright guys I'm completely lost.
I got the itm program on my iphone and the itouch midi on my Mac.
I installed the program and the phone connects to the rogram because the little logo on top lights up when it connects, but i downoaded the midi monitor program and when i open that i get thi message: MIDI Monitor could not make a connection to its MIDI driver. To fix the problem, quit all MIDI applications (including this one) and launch them again.

For now, MIDI Monitor will not be able to spy on the output of other MIDI applications, but all other features will still work."
so from what i understand its not connecting? but the little logo on the status bar lights up so it shows there connecting.
so that asied i opneed up vdj6 go to
config
mappers
and then i select "simple midi wrapper"
and try to make it learn a key but no response...can anyone help?
and i know its off subject as well..but i have the hercules rmx
when ever i sync a song on the other deck and then use the crossfader to switch to the other deck....and i wanna drop the tempo if the software displays (lets say the tempo all they way at the top (lower speed)) and he one on the rmmx is set in the middle...as soon as i move it slightly up or down it autmotically changes the tempo to match what i adjusted...it used to be (software 5.0) the tempo would stay the same until i moved the bar physically up to where it was showing on the software (so i could gradually regulate the tempo) does anyone know of a fix for this..or is this one of those horrible bugs on the software?
 
how i have to conect the midi control to virtual dj.? I already have syncroniced itouchmidi with my pc network, but when i open virtual dj it doesn't work.
 
Has anyone been able to configure this with version 6.x at all?
 
I have also been having this problem configuring vj 6. Can anyone help with the configuration of vj 6 on windows xp

my vj dose not have the remote icon at the top in the config window why
 
 
One of the Teamers at the Birmingham BPM Show was 'playing' with this connected to VDJ 7.0 and found it hilarious. Like playing with the Wii. :-)
 
OK I JUST GOT ITM DJ ON MY ITOUCH
I AM USING VIRTUAL DJ 7 ON A HP WINDOWS VISTA

I INSTALLED ITOUCH MIDI AND I HAVE I TUNES
FIRST SINCE I HAVE ITUNES AND HAVE BONJOUR (DO I NEED MIDI YOKE TOO OR NO) BECAUSE I DO NOT SEE ANY MIDI YOKE FOR VISTA

ALSO
MOST OF THE TIME WHEN I OPEN ITOUCH MIDI...AFTER IS SAY THE FIRST NO DEVICE PHONE OR WHAT EVER IT SAYS .. I CLICK OK AND THE THE SECOND WINDOW POPS UP..I CLICK OK AND MY WHOLE COMPUTER FREEZES AND I HAVE TO SHUT IT DOWN...


SO WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET THIS WORKING WITH VISTA..PLEASE HELP ASAP
BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE THIS OUT FOR 12 HOURS NOW

anybody used ActyMac DutyWatch Remote ( www.actymac.com ) ? I heard this is a good app too for remote monitoring...
