I have problem with Pioneer XDJ-AERO.
If I have vinyl mode and I use jog I have bad sound. Sound like water. (jog pitch+/-)
If I have CD mode and I use jog I have ok sound.
Can you help me?

I've recently bought the Pioneer DDJ-ERGO and got Virtual DJ LE with it but there is a problem. I think it's Virtual DJ.. Because when i'm trying to beatmatch 2 songs with my 'Sync' Button on my right pannel (Deck B/D) it works perfectly, on my left deck it does show that the 'Sync' Button is pressed but doesn't do anything but that... Please help fast! (So that i can send my Controller back if it isn't a problem with VDJ but with my Controller so i can return it)

I've had this same issue too, but i think the problem was that the other deck might have been the "master" deck. So when you go to beat match it doesn't since it's the master deck. So what I'm saying is that if your A/C deck is your master deck, your B/D deck will beat match it, if it's not, then I don't think it will. This was just what I found, and I hope it helps!

I recently got the DDJ-WEGO with Virtual DJ LE. My problem is with the Auto Loop feature. Whether it's locked or not, the looping stays the same. I can change lengths and all that, but I guess my main problem is that it doesn't "slip" with the rest of the track. Smart loop is supposed to be on and I think that's what it's supposed to do. I get that this may be just the LE version thing of it, but it would be nice if i can loop a section and then turn it off at the drop of the beat. Also, any way to get slip mode onto the LE version?

Loop will simply loop a section of a song until you exit it, at which point it will continue playing normally from that point, not 'where it would have been if you hadn't activated the loop'.

Slip mode/loop roll is currently only possible via plug-ins designed to do this, but these and other advanced features can only be used in the full VirtualDJ Professional (VirtualDJ LE is free limited software.) You can upgrade at a discount by going t:o: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

The Autoloop you see on the skin is actually the Smart Loop action for VirtualDJ. When enabled, it makes the loop seamless (whole beats). When disabled you can create manual loops with LoopIn & LoopOut

I JUST PURCHASED THE POINEER DJM T-1 SCRATCH MIXER, CAN I USE THE MIXER SOUND CARD AND THE CROSSFADER AS MIDI FOR MY VIDEO AND AUDIO LINK. IN VIRTUAL DJ, IF NOT PLEASE RESPOND AND LET ME KNOW SO I CAN RETURN THE UNIT BEFORE I EVEN OPEN IT. I LOVE PIONEER PRODUCTS BUT HAVE READ THAT I CANNOT USE THIS MIXERS MIDI BECAUSE IT WILL ONLY WORK WITH TRAKTOR. iM GETTING DIFFERENT RESPONSES, SO PLEASE LET ME AND THE OTHERS KNOW, IF SO I BELIEVE THIS WILL BE ONE HELL OF A PIECE FOR VDJ . YOU CAN CUSTOM MAP IT DO SO MUCH MORE ALONG WITH A CONTROLLER..

Never mind , I sent the Pioneer Back Guess I will have to stick With the Denon x-600

Not supported currently, but we could create a basic definition file and a mapper for the basics if you have kept the device :)
 
DJ dad, Im a club jock and was without a 2 channel midi mixer , it was me in a pinch, had the ole denon faders replaced by a grt friend who does electronic repair and has own business. I liked the djm t1 but read a post somwhere on the forum that its traktor specific and the hid protocol wasnt supported by vdj. and after deciding to step it up a notch i bought a pioneer nexus 900. Im a denon fanboy but to be honest it seems they and vdj are not working so well together, example is SC3900 comes out a year ago and find out there is no way for the platter to be used via midi so your stuck with timecode and even with my powerhouse computer the timcode was purely an embarrassment for me. and as for the 3700s they drift in midi mode , example do a few baby scratch and watch the "on point placement drift forward not accurate at all and yes i have all firmware updated. who releases a player that you can use midi and not have a possible definition or usable mid-hid protocol that works(denon sc 3900). I actualy believe I may just sell the denons and let my serato friends use them they work great with serato hybrid midi and you can backspin no drift.... I perfer VDJ... I have been using for many years. But recent new harware gets me excited that this is the piece that will take VDJ a step above but ends up in disapointment to me. I have researched the 900 nexus and understand it to be better that the denon x1600 ,per a good friend who uses vdj and had the dnx1600 he sold it and got the Nexus 900 also and he also likes the sound drivers much better and a few other previous people have agreed that when denon gets better drivers then they might switch but not today.. so im now going to give the Pioneer DJM900 nexus a try .
BTW is there a definition file and mapper for the pioneer nexus natively , thanks for listening

Actually I have created a definition & mapper for this device but I don't have any beta testers... :P
I had asked in the past in this very forum that if everyone owns this unit should contact with me!!!
 
Hi, How can I update my DJM-900 using Windows 8?
 
My VDJ pro crashes after an hour or hour and a half. It happened more than 10 times and upon rebooting it crashed within few minutes. Pioneer help page also indicates that many users have this problem. There is surprising silence from Pioneer.
My computer is (WIN7) new Sony VAIO and works fine for hours with my old RMX.
Has anybody here faced similar problem and fix if any

First of all it would be very helpful if you told us WHICH Pioneer unit is causing you issues...

Also you should make sure that you have updated your device firmware and it's ASIO drivers to the latest version(s)

oops.. It is DDJ;WEGO and yes I have updated my device firmware. As far as I could see there is no update for the ASIO drivers. Please let me know if I am mistaken.
Again I fail to understand why the device released for less than 6 months should need update on firmware and drivers? Was it not tested before release?
 
Most controllers receive driver updates after release, either to improve functionality or to fix small bugs discovered once the units go live.

In-house testing can never emulate all the scenarious these devices will be used in.

So now what is the solution to my problem of VDJ Pro freezing after an hour or so of use ? I have the latest firmware and driver as specified on the Pioneer website. As I said before there are number of posts on Pioneer support forum and there is no reply from Pioneer expert. I would appreciate if somebody from Pioneer can either own up the problem and show me the way to solve it or show me if I have to do something to make my DDJ WEGO controller work with the software that I have been using for many years now.
 
I have a djm 850 And Cdj 850's. I'm having issues with mapping deck 2. When I try to map deck 2 gain it maps to deck one. I'm also having issues with the video crossfader stop working in the middle of a show and the only way to fix it is to turn the mixer off. I'm at the point to where I'm about to go to serato because of all the issues I'm having so many problems. Can anyone help?
 
have you set the cdjs to different channels on the players as they come both set as deck one by default, also have you set your usb ports not to turn off to save power on your laptop?
