You really need to use the search or at least finger through the forums a bit more ... most of your questions are already answered here .. I know people say the search is not that great here ... but this thread was found very easily ...

Expert opinion? You have an entire thread of DJs talking about what are the best carts to use - what more do you want?

I'm a beat mixer mate, Don't scratch at all. Scratching good but It doesn't interest me at all mate.
If you scratch, then I hear them Shure M44 are top class.

If you want good needles.... buy are the Sure M44-7 or the ortofon Om scratch. Im using the Ortofon OM scratch needles. They hold down real good

They are good but very expensive. They have a 8mv out put. You can get the Om scratch which are alot cheaper and they have a 7mv output which is a slight difference. If you want high output, get the M44-7. They have 10mv ouputs. Im am happy with my Om scratch needles and they work great. You dont really need the Digitrack needles. Many people have the black and silver ortofons and those have a 5mv otput which is lower and work ok The difference is the output in MV

oh k,
so the more the mV, the more responsive it is to the tcv set up?

The higher the output, the greater the time code signal.

oh k, thanks a lot man, appreciate your help...
