Hi all,
I'm still experimenting in this software area, trying to make a decision with what to buy.
Before I do, I have one question.
I have a dell laptop
32 bit OS
2 Gig Ram,
AMD 1.9 GHZ
100 Gig drive with 38 Gigs left.
The machine is starting to slow down quite a lot and I need it to run smoothy.
My question is:
If I hold all my MP3's on an external USB hard drive and play them through the software, do you believe this will affect latency and timings etc?
Quite concerned as the laptop is only a couple of years old and slowing a lot.
I use Anti Virus/ Spybot etc to get rid of any nasties, but still..
Any advice appreciated.

If you don't have other free space on your hard-disk, you can use a USB pen drive; I think it's better to put your mp3 files on your hard disk though.
Remember that hold your files on an external storage means more time for loading your files.
