Hi all. this is my 1st post on the forums.. i have done some searches but cant find anything relating directly to my issue.
I am using VDJ in video mode with timecode.
I am running a Laptop with Vista home 32bit and nvidia graphics (256mb dedicated)
I use videos all night and have over 500gb of files stored on an external HD using firewire.
The problem:
VDJ seems to work perfectly but then maybe after 2 hours or maybe after 3hours 40mins ( It seems to be very random with no pattern ) It will either completely stop responding (music stops, vdj stops responding) or becomes very sluggish (mouse starts to jump and can not click on things) but the music continues. At this point i obviously have to reboot VDJ as i cant carry on.
Windows is still working in the background and after a ctrl alt del to get out of vdj and restarting the software it works ok again!
Iv looked in the crash guard file and theres no information in there..

Iv got all updates for vista, have latest nvidia drivers, dirext x, Audio 8 usb drivers. I also close all applications i don't need before starting vdj (MSN, AntiVirus etc)
Im starting to lose confidence in VDJ as its now happening almost every night whiles DJing at my local bar, but i can never be sure when its going to happen! IT seemed to work ok for 2 weeks but now very hit and miss! I hadnt made any changes since those two weeks apart from maybe a windows update.
any help would be great, thanks

I don't know for a fact but i would guess the thread has been leveled above NLU. You will need a VDJ license to be able to see the thread.
