overlapping or not isn't an issue... vdj can do both. however the color waveforms in serato are incredible. I used to be a proponent of VDJ waveforms until I was forced to use serato at a number of shows... and after just a couple gigs I fell in love with those waveforms. they carry so much more information and enable you to actually see a high frequency or clap which would have been nothing in a VDJ waveform
VDJ- if you can bring in serato styled colored waveforms the world would be great!

couldn't agree with you more, with the serato waves believe it or not i find it much easier to beat sync. i can't believe vdj hasn't figure this one out yet.

If you need the waves to beat sync, you are doing it wrong.
Maybe VDJ doesn't want to become a Serato clone, and maybe there are reasons why coloured waves haven't been implemented. It has been discussed in the past.

I find the serato wave forms much easier to read because its seperate. I can mark cue points precise.

not really, maybe you not understanding after both songs are on the same pitch it's easier for to beat sync using the color waves in serato compare to vdj wave. what is wrong about that?

This is a two year old post that has been bumped off topic.
djpino2012: VDJ works with the NS7, but it's not without potential issues. If you have queries about the NS7 then you can search the forum or start your own thread.
