For some reason when I go to the Effects section of the browser the 4 Blue Menu buttons don't display a description of what they are... I know that one is Video Effects and another is Audio Effects but even when I select things like the Karaoke plug-in the buttons for config and next singer the third I don't know what it is.... the words don't show on the button on any skin.

Okay maybe this will help
I'm running this on an XP Pro system with SP3 installed
Video card is a NVidia with 512mb ram
Ram 4GB
AMD AM2 CPU
What I can't see is the works in the blue boxes when you go to the Effects browser... and I can't see things in the Effects or SoundFX but they do play....
