Apple released a new update to their OS, MacOS 10.5.7, that breaks the compatibility in the RMX drivers.
The reason is that this new OS doesn't let the RMX drivers automatically create the aggregate device for the RMX soundcard.
Until a patch is available, there is an easy way to fix the problem.
One just need to create the audio aggregate driver manually.
Just follow these simple steps :
- Launch "Audio Midi Setup" (located in Applications/Utility)
- Select in the menubar, Audio->Open Aggregate Device Editor
- Click "+"
- Rename "Aggregate Device" into "Hercules DJ Console Rmx Aggregate" (careful it's case sensitive)
- Check "Use" on the Hercules DJ Console RMX in the list
- Click Done
