Hello dinisrufino,
It would be efficient to take the time to list your configuration:
- computer configuration (Laptop or desktop/ CPU model à speed / RAM quantity / graphic resolution)
- which version of Windows 7 you use,
- which version of VirtualDJ (is it VirtualDJ DJC 3.4.1?),
- which version of drivers (is it Hercules DJ Console Series - 2009_HDJS_3 package),
- whether the DJ Console Mk2 is detected in Hercules control panel (when you click on the About tab, what do you read as firmware version: if it is N/A, then the Mk2 is not properly detected).

And you are sure that everything is installed correctly , as indicated in this document:
http://ts.hercules.com/faqs/eng/her_eng_00265.pdf
If this is the case, and that you have version 3.4.1 of Virtual DJ , it's possible that there is some imcompatibilities with Windows 7, but since the final version is not yet released , this is to be expected, and you shoud rely on an OS that is known to be stable like XP or Vista for your gigs.

Don't panic. When the console is connected to the computer, it becomes the default sound card for the computer.
Simply go to t Windows audio properties (Windows Control Panel > Sound > Playback tab), and set your computer's soundcard as default.

How about the FIRMWARE?
What version is indicated?
If it says N/A, then you may want to try this procedure:

ok, so all the information is correct regarding the console.
In Device Manager, it should be listed as "Hercules DJ Console MK2" (instead of USB audio as in the support document), so this should be good also, but it should also be visible in Windows Audio Properties.
Now, either this version of VDJ doens't like Windows 7, or something went wrong during the installation.
BTW, you don't have to quote everytime. Simply add a new message to the thread.
