The HID controls were implemented into the players for superior interfacing with software, faster communication speed over MIDI, audio/visual streaming and two-way information on displays. HID enables easy, precise and native control of DVS systems such as Serato™ Scratch Live3, Native Instruments’ Traktor4 series and MixVibes Cross5 without the need for time-coded discs.

Its a shame VDJ is not on the list... as always...

Why would they add blu ray and also have a HDMI out to this. Its a Midi deck.. Pioneer didn't ad then for reasons of not losing sales on the DVJ's. Its all a strategy.

The Pioneer looks nice but this will not take away from anyone using using a laptop. This screen is small and many preffer to see lots at once.

The CDJ-900 will be $1699 and the CDJ-2000 will be $2150.

If you didn't already know, there's two new species

Nice, but I am not in a hurry to get them, but probably eventually will.

They will be released in December. Just in time for my birthday!!

so other than being able to connect 4 players to one media source placed in one deck and the needle drop (which is cool) how do these compare to the DN-S3700? Seems like a vastly expensive price for what you get? Maybe I am missing a key point here?

I might of missed it but can you connect a keyboard to browse the library?

I like the Denons 3700 a lot better, it all about that fun, beautiful platter with the nice old skool pattern on it.

I know die hard CDJ guy's love the touch sensitive job but I don't, give me a motorized platter any day.
