Hi, I have just bought Hercules Steel DJ Control.
I have Virtual DJ 6.0.1 Pro running (on XP).
Most of the buttons are not assigned to anything. Buttons 1-6 and 7-12 don't do anything (except for 1, 4 and 2).
Also, the Control 1 and Control 2 don't work all the time. For example, if I have Flanger effect on, I want to be able to change the Volume and Delay using the Control 1 and 2 Knobs. It doesn't work. I can only get the knobs to work on Loop Out, when I want to change the length of the loop.
I've researched "mappers" but it all seems really complicated. I'm not good with coding. Is there a file I can download which has all this done?
If I have to write the code myself, can someone please help me! How can I get the Control knobs assigned to effects parameters.

You should update to the latest version 6.0.2 just to be shure that we are talking about the same thing.

Normaly you assign 'effect slider 1' and 'effect slider 2' to the knobs - that's it.
