Topic: My mp4 videos won't play

This is my first time trying to play mp4 video's (my Vob's play fine).
In my codecs settings I have my MP4 set as general video decoder is this correct and do I need to download an mp4 decoder. BTW the videos play fine in Quicktime. I searched the forums but could not find an answer. Any help will be appreciated.

I was having the same issue until I re-checked my settings. Under your video settings make sure your "output window" is active or else you won't get any video but audio only. Good Luck.

If they are MP4 videos from itunes you will need to convert them with the video repacker. It is available on the tools section of the site.
 
You don't need to use the video re-packer any more since the latest version of vdj supports m4v files.
