Hi Everybody
I Am a KJ and using avdj-v.4.
what i love in this version is that i can add songs to the playlist,and the mixing is done automaticlly from deck a to b and from b to a without me tuching anythig .recently i decided to evaluate the new version'and i cant find enyware how do i config the "space" bar to move from deck A to deck B and vice versa,even in a middle of a song playin. p l e a s e ! help me with that !!!

In the latest versions http://www.virtualdj.com/download/trial.html , automix takes place on a single deck, leaving the other free for playing individual tracks. For Karaoke use, you can load a background music playlist and set it to automix, then load each Karaoke song to the spare deck and crossfade across to it. When the song is finished, crossfade back to your automix music playlist again.
The following actions can be used to achieve this:
automix_skip - Immediately skips to the next song in the playlist. You can also do this by simply double-clicking on a song in the list.
mix_now - Smoothly crossfade from one side to the other, using beatsync if both songs have enough beat.
To map these to a key on your keyboard, go to CONFIG -> Mappers

Hi Jon,
Probably unrelated, but is thee a command to "chop" mix two tracks together. For example when using my remote console with BPM studio I could hit the enter key and it would stop one deck and instantly start the other one.

automix_dualdeck : enable or disable automix using both decks (deprecated).
Many don't seem to like this for some reason. I am like you, I use it often. Enjoy

Hi guys, excuse me for jumping into this thread but I have been experiencing an automix problem which as yet has not been resolved and I'm wondering if it's a limitation on the software or a bug. Here's the scenario. I have either Sonique or clipbank selected to run when audio files are played. When going from a video to Sonique/Clipboard the transition is fine, but when going the other way from Sonique/Clipbank to video the music plays fine but the screen fades to black before it finally kicks in once the transition is complete. This only happens on automix mode and is common to all transitions. Things are fine when used manually.
Can anyone duplicate this or advise me if there's a fix

I guess u like to move in the middle of the song to the next song and don't want to wait till the end, to the point that the VDJ automatically will do the mix.
So u can "move" the RED mark from the end to the point u wish to mix the next song
