Hi all I use a shure 58 mic and its not loud enough when i use it with the hercules mk2. Anyone getting better results with another mic. If so let me know which mic will sound louder. Thanks in advance

Shure M58 is a dynamic microphone, which requires a more powerful preamplifier than what you get on DJ Console Mk2.
On DJ Console Mk2, you should
- either use an electret condenser microphone
- or use a preamplifier for your Shure M58, if you have any, as Behringer mic preamplifiers for example. http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/

Sorry, what I have written was wrong, a dynamic microphone should be OK with your DJ Console Mk2 microphone input, better than an electret microphone. I will try to get a Shure microphone to confirm whether it is OK or not on my side.
