If you want to share your works here then use the VirtualDJ Tools/Drivers download section.
Also, there is a correct mapping for the X-Session Pro that is available here - http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/11331/X-Session_Pro.html
For PC users just run the installer. For Mac users - copy the definition to the Documents\VirtualDJ\Devices folder and mapping to the Documents\VirtualDJ\Mappers folder

From your other thread - we don't need 2 threads --
The reason you are having troubles is because when M-Audio bought the rights to the Evolution X-Session and branded it to their own as well as change the design - they (M-Audio) did not change the MIDI codes or get a new SysExID issued for the new design. So, both units are recognized as the same device because of the SysExIDs being identical.
So, in a nutshell - with the definitions internal to VirtualDJ you can only use 1 or the other. Not both - out of the box.
However you can try the following - look in the documentation for the Evolution and see if you can change the MIDI channel of the unit. If you can change it to a different MIDI channel like say channel 3 - then you might be able to map the entire unit via the SimpleMIDI wrapper.
If not, I will dig deeper ... but try that first.

i have both the evolution x-session and the m-audio x-session pro.
i have no problem mapping the m-audio, but am unable to map the evolution knobs with the pre-existing map. the x-fader and buttons are assignable. the simple midi wrapper does not recognize the evolution x-session at all. i have attempted with all versions of virtual dj 6 up to the most recent. i can map all of the evolutions knobs, buttons, and x-fader successfully using vdj 5.2.1
i have attempted using windows xp and 7. i have tried renaming the mapper file, manually editing the file, and mixing and matching as the existing assignment names are misleading. any help would be much appreciated.
thanks.

thanks for the update and my apologies.
i was able to change the global midi channel from 1-16
but none allowed the simple midi wrapper access.

no change in 6.1
going back to 5.2.1 as both devices work fine with it,
and its turning out to be less of a resource hog than 6.
