You got to follow instructions or you will never get the thing installed!

I'm busy putting a tutorial together for you, now it is on a clean install so clean out any previous installs on your machine while you are waiting.

It will show you an install on windows 7 - 64 bit, what happened when it went wrong and then what to do to get it installed, please please please follow the guide, don't deviate, don't fast forward, just do as it says at any prompts.

Obviously you will have to wait while it goes through the install proceedures as I've edited out those waiting around bits.

DO NOT INSTALL AS ADMINISTRATOR!

Now we got to wait on YouTube to render it......

thank you but i was following someones instruction juas ive been doing for the last 24 hours.. so if you have a differnet way for my to install. please present it step by step.. i try bunck of way to get this thing to take. no it not my first time. its something with this laptop maybe

IGNORE THE WINDOWS PROMPTS! ignore the winblows prompts. After it is done (if it doesn't prompt you to restart on its own) restart your computer, BUT ONLY AFTER IT IS 100% DONE!
Michael

thank you

the prompts pops up at the same time everytime. tried working the prompt before , during and after and after restart,, still give me an error..

Ok, I would prefer if you installed as if it was new and follow the instructions from the begining and just follow the vid, I know you get to a point where you think the previous bit was a waste of time, but hopefully if you follow this to it's end you will have a working installation.

Remember I have edited out the bits that you must wait for the installation to run it's course. And yes I realise yours is Vista but they are the same install proceedures.

cstol.. you haven’t chimed in.. i gave u a step by step without any pic. what do you think... please. im just about to give up and blame the laptop.. tried all the way folks have instructed backwards and forwards... is there anything with vista that could be causing this problem

Okay. followed the vid step by step.. but what do i do with this damm (Found New Hardware) window ..

Again... it pops up ing the middle of the install.. chould this be the problem

just let it install, don't worry about it, forget you even seen it, lol, the system is just telling you it see's the new hardware/drivers.

follow the vid....

And yes I did.. But. Even after I restart. It pops up.. I’ve tied selecting Don’t show this message but that doesn’t change anything in Device manager

Alright then. From this point in Device Manager, try the following:

Right-click on either of the DJ devices with the yellow !, and choose Update Drivers.

Next, select Browse my computer for driver software, then browse to the following path (where the driver files are copied):

C:\Program Files\Hercules\Audio\DJ Console Series\Drivers

Click Next

At this point, windows should indicated the compatible divers available. Obviously, select it and continu.

If this works, proceed to the next problematic device.

If it doesn't work, let us know what the error message is.

okay this is what popped up

Just like before Under sound settings Hercules is selected in the pull down
And output is on 4.1 sound but there is no rmx icon as I said before something isn’t taking on this laptop

And it is enabled under sound devices and is set as default

Ok, that gives me an idea. But I'll have to check something on DJ my computer for that. I'll get back tomorrow about this.

hey,, for got ,, sound will pass through the rmx .. just no control.., could it be something with the mapper.. Or something like that
