Hi everyone, this is my first post on here. I tried to search but couldnt really get the answer to my problem.
So I have VDJ 6 and an RMX. I custom mapped the controller no problem. But there are alot more functions in VDJ than i have room for on the RMX so I want to map them to the keyboard. But in the mapper when i used the key learn function it wont recognize the keyboard keys. So I try just clicking in the box and manually typing the key i want to map, which works fine. Then i insert whatever action i want to do the the action dialogue box. VDJ saves what i enter but the keyboard keys still do not do what i assign to them. Its really annoying me. Any help?

Make sure that you choose Keyboard from the drop-down list - If the Hercules DJConsole RMX is selected, you will only be able to map buttons on that controller only.

- Select Keyboard from the drop-down list.
- Click Key Learn
- Press the appropriate key (Or SHIFT + key, etc.)
- Type the action that you wish to assign it to in the action box. If you need to apply it to a specific deck, add deck 1 or deck 2 in front as appropriate, e.g: deck 1 play

been trying to map the buttons on the hercules rmx mainly just the 6 buttons on both sides for loops and effects .. only really use loop 4 and loop 8 and been trying to map button 1 to loop 4 and button 4 to loop 8 but for some reason it wont work .. was reading some of the posts about adding a shift button but really dont understand what its on about ... if someone can give a step by step i'd very much appreciate it..
