Hey,
A club I've started work at uses virtual dj and some old pioneers as midi controllers..
I'm considering buying the software so I can prep for my mixes at home, then import the database files and music tracks when I get to work so I don't have to set all thecue points and re-analyse my tracks when I start.... if you get what I mean??
Is this possible?
Also work uses err a vista or win7, but I want to get the mac version, if it is possible would the database files of the two be compatible or not?
Ideally I would like a button that picks up all the tracks in a certain itunes playlist i make, then copy the whole lot and a file containing all cue points, bpm and shove it all on to a usb stick?
Anyway thanks alot, I've read through a few posts and you guys seem really helpful & knowledgeable

Providing the club is using the latest VirtualDJ, you can do this easily by using an external hard drive for your music.
The database on an external hard drive is stored separately on that drive, allowing you to use it on more than one system with the database information intact.
If you wish to use an external hard drive on both PC and Mac, you will need to format it FAT32. This will allow both Mac and PC to be able to read and write from/to the drive.

Excuse me question, unfortunately, my external HD, fully video loaded, is in NTFS and of course MAC doesn't recognize it. Should I re-analyze all the BPMs in a separate DB or avoid to connect to my mac? I forgot to write that I use Paragon NTFS for Mac that allows me to write and read from PC to Mac or vice-versa.
