Has anyone successfully gotten TouchOSC running on a Ipad/Ipod to control VDJ on a PC? I've been trying to get it to work but I've been hitting some roadblocks.

Yer I was thinking of getting an iPad for my DAW.

Turns out the apple guys say it can't be done. Long story short, it's just a fat, over priced, iPod touch - litterally :(

The only apps you can use are the ones issued from the apple store (so not even mac apps from the net), can't use it as a phone either...

So, it's not a laptop, not a mac book, nor a computer it's just a peice of @#$

OK, so this turned into a review rather than help... As far as the mac guys say, it can't be done but maybe if you managed to jail break it?

Don't ask how mind, got no idea

Yes it does work now on the PC, I've seen it. I'm just having problems installing the OSC and Yoke software. That's what I need help with. Check out Youtube, some people have it working.

DJdab, what configs did you use for pure data?

Thanks, I'll try it tonight. By the way, great setup. Can you scratch with it ok?

Well, I was able to emulate decent scratch wheels but if I really want accuracy I use Tonetable for timecode to VDJ. That is pretty precise.

That's damn geeky! :D It made my day :D

Thanks ;o)

Brilliant man. I love this. I have been trying a few of the apps out there to try and figure how to run VDJ with my iPad. You are awesome :-)
