Hey guys, first post here on the Virtual DJ forums. :)
I need a bit of help in regards to sending MIDI data back to my APC40, mostly for LEDs but also so I can reset knobs (if this is possible?)
As far as I'm aware I need to make a definition file, but so far I've had no luck getting anything to work. I have my mappings as I want them, but the LED feedback would make a huge difference.
Even if somebody could send me their definition file I would be hugely appreciative.

Sorry I can tell you this. I have been looking everywhere for the same thing. The closest I have gotten is using the template in hardware.
However, I am using the midi maker in tools and it appears to be something that might take care of all of the problems we are having with the led's. the APC40 is useless without leds. especially when it's mixed with so many other midi's like I use it. I have maxed my two channel controller by using it as a four with the shift option it runs as two totally different controllers. check out tools.

Note. Virtualdj Home Free version will work only for 10 minutes at a time with your controller. You need to purchase VirtuaDJ Pro Full version to be able to use controllers and custom mappings.
