In the release notes for 7.0.3, it states that a new value to send MIDI CLOCK was added. I have tried the instructions posted in the wish list thread with no success. If any one has this working to something like a Roland SP-555 or Korg Electribe, I would like to know how you did it. This is how I tested with no positive results.
Simple VDJ test: VDJ --> MOTU Ultralite --> Roland SP-555
Put "all" under "SendMidiClockTo"
VDJ saw SP-555 pads being pressed, so MIDI from SP-555 was good
SP-555 never saw clock
Simple ABLETON test: ABLETON --> MOTU Ultralite --> SP-555
Enabled SYNC to Ultralite (MIDI Port)
ABLETON saw SP-555 pads being pressed, so MIDI from SP-55 was good
SP-555 SAW clock and synced correctly, so MIDI clock through MOTU Ultralite to the SP-555 worked
I sniffed the MIDI packets. VDJ never sends to any MIDI port on the system.
The Ultralite port is labeled "MIDI Port" in the system. I changed "all" to "MIDI Port" under "SendMidiClockTo"
VDJ saw SP-555 pads being pressed, so MIDI from SP-555 was good
SP-555 never saw clock
So, as per the instructions given, and using a hardware MIDI port to eliminate any MIDI software mapping issues, as far as I can tell, it doesn't work on a MAC.

PS: please only respond if you actually have it working. There has already been enough people say that is possible.

I am still looking for anyone that has MIDI CLOCK working on a MAC.

For anyone reading this thread, there is an issue with the MAC implementation of MIDI CLOCK for release 7.0.3 of Virtual DJ. Atomix is now aware of this issue and is looking at the problem. If you try the methods to enable MIDI CLOCK and they fail, this is now a known issue.

What is it for the midi clock ?

MIDI CLOCK is a way for devices to send the tempo to each other. An example would be if you had an external groove machine, such as a Korg Electribe or Akai MPC, that you wanted to mix into your music. MIDI CLOCK would allow Virtual DJ to send via MIDI the tempo to those devices so they are in sync with the beat.
