Hello!
I have a question: can the Numark m2 mixer (http://www.numark.com/m2) work with VDJ 7? I have VDJ 7 home free and a Windows 7 64-bit computer.
Thank you for your help!

Hello,
you can use this ANalogue mixer but it will not control anything in the Software (because it is not a MIDI device) and you only can use it for the Master channel because direct routing of each deck to the Soundcard is not supported in the Home Free version.
You need the Professional Basic version if you want to work only with Mouse and Keyboard (No controllers, no Timecode)
or the Professional Full version which has support for Controllers and Timecode.

Thanks, Heiko!
Because of what I've heard from you I realized that the m2 is not what I need.
You seem to be a very experienced user of DJ hardware so I would like to hear your opinion on choosing the best beginner all in one VDJ controler.
I was thinking about the Hercules e2, but it doesnt have a built-in sound card, so I would have to get an external one.
But such cards cost as much as the mixer and the total cost is about the same as the Hercules Mk4 has.
So? What do you think? Should I get the e2 plus the external sound card or the Mk4?
Or do you know any better alternative?
