hello im new to the forum and recently picked up 2 pioneer cdj 1000s with the serato sl1 box . serato is okay but it doesnt give me the precise bpm for each song that I was looking for like vdj does . I choose to play the right deck on 1 and 2 and left on 3 and 4 but when I try to start a song only the right deck will play . The left deck will show movement if I move the platter but wont start the song . do i need another soundcard for the left deck to play or ? any help would be appreciated thanks

anyone know how to get the sl1 box to work with virtual dj ? both cdjs not just one

I had close to the same issue I believe...
When Configuring your set up, make sure to go into timecode config, and change your timecodes accordingly. I recommend using the VDJ timecodes http://www.virtualdj.com/products/hardware.html#timecode, and not the Serato ones.

HI JM12910,yes Vdj works with serato sl1,thats what i use,and its very simple,you have to download ASIO4ALL drivers and follow the instructions in vdj´s user guide.
You can either use serato´s time code,or virtualdj´s time code,both are good.
