I currently have Virtual DJ pro and the Hercules MP3 E2 controller.
I have an external sound card which is great. However, I can only configure the external soundcard to let me preview the track I am cueing up. What I want to be able to do in my headphones is listen to the track currently playing alongside the track being cued up like I can on an external mixer?
How can I do this please?!?!?!?!?!?!

What is the brand and model of your external soundcard ?
In Order to use the headphone previewing mode with Virtual DJ, your soundcard needs to be multi-channel ( 4.1 or 5.1 for example) and have the appropriate connections.

It is the Sweex 7.1 External USB Sound Card (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sweex-7-1-External-Sound-Card/dp/B00265L1S2/ref=sr_1_23?ie=UTF8&qid=1304346197&sr=8-23)
Am i able to get the configuration so that I can preview both tracks at the same time in my headphones but obviously only the current tune playing out loud?
You will make me very happy if you can guide me how to do this!!

Your soundcard should allow you to have multiple output with VDJ.
You can take a look at this procedure ( for another card) that will give you the basic information to proceed to the configuration. Sijply adapt the steps to your model specificity

I can configure it so that through the external soundcard I can cue up no problem. What i want to be able to do is get both the track i am cueing up and the master track in my headphones, with only the master track playing out loud if that makes sense.
At the moment I can only get the master track playing out loud and ONLY the cueing track playing by itself in the headphones.

Simply position the HEADPHONE MIX knob to 50%, and you will get the same amount of both signal in the headphone.
Note the knob may or may not appear depending on the skin you are using.
BTW, you should enter your VDJ serial number in your profile so that you can get access to all updates and downloads.

How can i find the headphone mix button? That sounds like its exactly what I am after! How can I use it using a controller on a skin that doesnt have it on! In other words what action should i be looking to add to the mapper for my controller?
Will update the serial number when i get home from work cheers!

Like every functions in VDJ, headphone_mix it can be assigned in the mapper to your keyboard or your controller.

Hi
I have a Hercules mp3 e2 and I want to set two cue points and control it via the hercules.
However there is only one cue button.
Is there a way to do this?
Thanks
