Hi guys and gals.
I have this amazing piece of kit but only after 3 months of use, it is starting to show problems. Maybe you can help me.
The Play button on both sides seems to occasionally work. The problem is mainly on the right hand side. When i press the button sometimes the software will play fine, other times it just stutters and plays for a nano second making me press the button for a second (or occasionally 3 times) before it plays.
I have once also had the loop just stop sound (when really fast) whilst using the mc6000.
Virtual DJ is the most recent version and mc6000 has the latest firmware.
Here are my specs:
Acer Laptop with core 2 duo processor
2gb ram (I know its not that fast)
Vista (Its rubbish but I have had no problems with it thus far)
Monster Hi speed + USB cable connecting into mc6000
I think my buffer size is 512
I have heard a few people are having the same problems. I have been told the "midis dirty" and need a wipe by prying of the buttons and using a Johnsons baby bud to clean.
I do use a smoke machine/haze machine and a bubble machine regular could this be a problem. Also if the prying off the buttons is the solution, would this void the warranty and are the buttons easy (and safe to take out)?
All the other buttons and knobs on the device work correctly.
Thanks
James

I have exactly same problems with my mc-6000, left play buttons some times fails when you push it, it only plays nanosecond and stop. I have to press it again etc... It's kind of double press at once, statrts to play but also stops immediately. Maybe the contact under button is dirty.
Also, when I have 4 beats loop, sometimes output sound disappear for a moment. It seem only happend when loop is 4 beats long. It ma be something in denon asio driver because I have diffrent setup in other bar, they have denon x1600 mixer which uses same asio driver as mc6000. Sometimes I get same sound disappearing problem with it too.
