Topic: 7.04 - Loop - Audio Drop Out

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Since upgrading to VDJ 7.04 I've noticed what I think is a bug.

I'm using my Allen & Heath Xone:4D as MIDI controller and also the internal soundcard.
This hasn't been an issue with previous versions.
If I engage a loop, after it's repeated a few times I start to get audio drop out, then it comes back, then it goes and so on.
If I disengage the loop there are no further drop outs.
Loop on again same problem.

If I go back to 7.03 or 7.04 the problem does not present itself.

That's the really buggy part.

I'm also noticing some slight drift when using CD Timecode that again does not exist in the previous versions.

Hopefully someone can help.

Interesting... I use the Numark Mixdeck and it does not do that. Issue could be the sound card, Midi is midi unless it controls your gains. If vdj controls the gains and it does it then it could be a bug indeed.

It's not the soundcard. Or if it is, then it's a very strange fault that only happens with 7.04.
It doesn't happen with 7.03 or 7.02 or Traktor Pro 2.

VDJ is set to Automatic + Remember for Gain.
Why do you think this might be the issue.

Incidentally does anyone know of a way to set the automatic gain lower?

I have the same issue using a Denon DN-MC6000 and version 7.0.5. Have also had the same problem when using Denon DN-S3700s.

This is a nearly 1year old topic ;-)

I only would advice you to use at VDJ Config - Performance the Advanced Streching.
Maybe this will help, while using the MC6000.
