can anybody tell me what software is used to make remixes, a software that can breakdown an original song into parts and then put it back together in a different structure.. I have always wanted to make my own remixes :)
I have seen many videos on Youtube for djs making their own remixes, all i could see is a software and midi controller but i never figured out what software to use !!!!

First of all, you won't break a song into parts. Drums, Synth bass, Synth strings, Whatever sounds you think.
you'll load a .wav with everything on it.. MAYBE if you invest into a song on beatport sometimes the producer sell his audio parts seperatly.
