Just fiinished broadcasting my 1st show using the numark NS6 , incredible unit and works flawless with VDJ , my only issue was the mic. I use channel 3 for my mic and it is set to line/mic . I am running the latest and registered version of VDJ. I hear the mic just fine over the monitors , but never heard it in the broadcast .Any feedback would be thankful .
BTW i would def suggest the numark NS6 well worth every penny and like i said before it worked flawless with VDJ

i would also like to add that serato itch that comes with the NS6 is garbage, VDJ is a far superior software

Because the NS6 uses a real mixer, the audio from the mic is mixed with the audio from the computer at the mixer and sent out to your amps/speakers. The mic audio does not go back into the PC and can't be recorded in this configuration. If there were a 'send' then you could get the mic output sent back into the computer, but looking at the NS6 pictures online, it doesn't look like this is an option.
You can almost definitely confugure the NS6 for a 'pc-mix' mode with your master output being fed back into VDJ for recording, but I'm not sure without looking at the documentation.
My suggestion would be to either use your mic input on your soundcard (if you have a decent sound card with low noise and actual mic-level input) or get a cheap XLR to USB mic cable, or a USB mic and attach to your computer directly Then just setup the mic output to go out to an unused channel on your NS6 (setup in VDJ) so you can hear it. You may get some delay on the mic however.
