hi there, i am completely new to all of this, but would like to get my numark decks up and running with Virtual DJ. Here is a picture of my setup,

however both numark timecodes(?) control the same deck on the screen.. they both change to the latest song.. for example, if i am playing a song on deck a, they will both control deck a, until i add a song onto deck b, then they will both change to deck b?!
also how will i connect up my external mixer to work with this?!
thanks very much for any information

You will need to purchase the full VirtualDJ Professional to use MIDI controllers or time code: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
Make sure that you have the latest v7.0.5 Pro installed - Some older versions had issues with two or more single MIDI controllers.
Make sure both are assigned via CONFIG -> Mappers to control the correct decks - See http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Decks%20inverted%20on%20MIDI%20controller.html

In that case, please register your Pro serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html
iCDX's do not have their own built-in sound card, so preferably you will need a proper dedicated DJ sound card with at least 2 stereo outputs such as Numark DJIO.
Two cards will also work, but you may have problems if the two cards are different to each other (Different models) or their settings are not the same.
NOTE: The sound card has no effect on the iCDX's function as a MIDI controller. If they are not controlling the decks at all, then you have some other issue, e.g: iCDX not in MIDI mode, latest drivers and firmware not installed, etc. See http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Controller%20Configuration%20And%20Troubleshooting.html
