JUST RECIEVED MY MIXTRACK PRO TODAY TRAKTOR VERS, IVE GOT VDJ PLUG IT IN EVERY THING WORKED FINE STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX JUST ON BIG FAT PROBLEM...... THE HEADPHONES ARE NOT IN SYNC WITH WHAT IS BEING PLAYED LIVE WHY WHY WHY???? EVEN WHEN I STOP ONE DECK AND LISEN TO THE DECK PLAYING OUT THROUGH THE HEADPHONES THERES LIKE HALF A BEAT LAG... CAN NOT MIX LIKE THIS ITS STUPID PLEASE HELP

hi, i wasnt meant to be shouting.... my sound settings are exactly correct as on the linkk provided, my headphones are plugged into the headphone socket on the mixtrack... my headphones are playing exactly what vdj is showing on time but on the out put it is about half a beat delay???? any suggestions please.

Are you using any third party drivers?
According to the Numark site, the Mixtrack Pro doesn't require any specific drivers, it just uses the normal Windows ones.
Are you perhaps using ASIO4ALL or something?

no not using any extra drivers just mixtrack..... the hadphones are pplaying live but mixtrack is delayed half a beat???

Well my next suggestion would be to try the Mixtrack Pro with Traktor and see if it does the same thing...
That way you'll know if it's the software or the hardware.

i cant because i have no cd drive to install traktor.... does any one else know what it may be...the delay is ony with the output not with the headphones because its coming straight out of mixtrack but the out is going into the amp it seems because its going through the amp its delaying sound

Surely if you've got the Traktor disc with a serial number, you can download the software from the web site?
Anyway, if you reckon it's the amp - what amp is it?
Try it with another amp, or powered speakers instead.
It should be easy to tell if the amp is delaying anything, simply by playing
a CD, vinyl etc through it.

Hey, thanks alot groovy dj... IT FINALLY WORKED, it was the hardware i pluged it in to a different amp and its playing instantly as in live... no lag or delay, AMAZINNG feels really good now feels like i can mix.... it feels quality feels like a real professional peice of kit, thanks for all your support sorry for being a pain...
