Topic: Songs renaming and tagging

I have been using virtual dj 5 and i just upgraded to virtual dj pro. However i had rename all my songs on virtual dj 5 by right clicking and clicking on file infos, but only some of the songs have their name and artist on virtual dj pro. Do i have to do something different so my songs can be read on my new virtual dj pro software and any other vdj softwares. PLEASE HELP.

Hallo,

Ik gebruik Bulk rename utility (freeware) om de bestandsnamen van MP3 files eenvormig te maken.

De bestandsnaam dient alsvolgt te worden aangepast Artiest - titel

Daarna gebruik ik MP3tag (geen freeware) om de bestandsnaam als MP3 tag op te slaan.
- eerst alle mp3 tg versies 1 en 2 verwijderen
- dan bestandsnaam opslaan als mp3tag

Hierna heb nooit mer problemen met je bestanden.

Ik sla de artiestnaam en titel overigens op in hoofdletters (functie in Bulk rename utility) dit vergroot de leesbaarheid in het donker :-)

Wow I just finished writing a long information and it got erased...:-(

OK keep it short

Tried your link and it did not work

Every other mp3 player can read all information in the tag except your software.

File info up arrow does not show missing title (for song that is missing song title)

Browser is set to read id3 tags

about 10% of all my songs are missing some part of it (title or artist or artwork)

Have over 7k songs

If I go into file info I can add missing information, but would have to do this for 700+ songs (not gonna happen)

I have downloaded latest version of LE and using 20 day Pro version.

I hope there is an easy fix or I will have to use another software.

I am using Windows 7 Home with Hercules 4-mx dj console

Hi,

I was trying to rename a song on the Virtual Dj program LE 7 and after I renamed it the song stayed the same. I don't know why or what happened. Is it because of DRM . I don't know what.
