If I apply break beat effect (downloaded plugin from Automix) on deck 2, it will stop deck 1 after deck 2 has "stopped".

Unfortunately, this is a very old user-made effect that was designed for VirtualDJ v2.0.6 in 2003, so it may no-longer be fully compatible with the latest versions of the software. A lot has changed in the software since VirtualDJ v2.0.6
If it is not working properly for you, then the only solution would be to contact the author (Ekinox) and ask them to fix/update it. However, given that it was created nearly 10 years ago, they might not be around any more.

I really love this effect (break beat by Ekinox) but is there no alternative since activating it on deck 2 affect deck 1 too? And if there isn't, how do I contact the developer (as someone suggested) so that the effect would be upgraded? It has to work with the latest versions of Vdj. Thanks in advance.
