So I just got a Hercules RMX after returning the Numark Mixtrack pro...but I'm having problems with VDJC version 1.4 that came with the unit...every time i hook the controller up to my macbook and start up the VDJ app it gives me the message Sound driver error...I dont know if it's the hercules malfunction or the software is out of date...the app still opens up and i'm able to load the decks with tracks and another issue pops up i understand i can't hear if there's a sound driver error but the song itself isn't playing, at all. I tried calling hercules themselves but i kept waiting for over an hour each time with no one answering...if you guys know anything or dealt with issues in the past it'd be a real help and i really appreciate it!

The drivers and/or software are probably out of date.
Please ensure that you have the latest DJ Console drivers and firmware installed.

Aso make sure that you have the most recent version of VirtualDJ Console Edition installed. Register your serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the installation file from:
http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

I have done all the updating and all. Is there any other updates that i should apply? I have the sound working and all now but i still have the issue of getting my headphones to play a different songs than my speakers..I keep messing with the channel outputs without success...I can't go into the advanced options in the VDJ and it says i have to upgrade to pro version...Can I fix it without upgrading or do I have to upgrade?? I just wanna test everything out before I upgrade that's all

Right now it's just a headphone issue, and I really have no idea on that, I have been trying to find that but the options menu won't let me setup any kind of output or input...

You shouldn't need any other updates except for those above (Latest drivers/firmware and VirtualDJ Console Edition v5.2.2)

Even in DJC? and I can't even access any options to begin with let alone having the right configurations...

VirtualDJ Console Edition is designed to work with the console that it came with only. There are no options (except during the 20 day trial - Click on the MORE button to access these.)
Normally, VirtualDJ LE will allow limited access to sound configuration options only, but because DJ Console Edition is designed to work with specific hardware only, it may not allow this.
