I have an iDJ3 turntable and I can't get the sound to come out of them. The only sound I can get from the turntable is my iPod and not from the music I want to mix with my iPod and hard drive on my laptop. I heard the iDJ3 has a sound card built into it, but I can't get the audio to work. The software is a Virtual DJ Broadcast by the way. Please help, thanks.

Sorry, VirtualDJ Broadcaster doesn't support using MIDI controllers such as the iDJ3. It also doesn't support using an external multi-channel sound card such as that built into the iDJ3. Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html
To use the iDJ3 as a MIDI controller and use its sound card, you will need to either use the VirtualDJ LE if it came with it or purchase the full VirtualDJ Professional: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

Oh ok. Thanks. I thought that the sound card built in would let the sound onto my headphones with the software.

Using a MIDI controller just to act as a sound card only is a waste. You should either use it with VirtualDJ LE if it came with it included and/or upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Professional: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
